Knoxville, TN- Ijams Nature Center. We plan to assist Master Bander Mark Armstrong of the Knoxville Chapter of TOS with a hummer banding session in the afternoon, then  Martha & I will present a PowerPoint program on hummingbirds beginning at 7:30 PM. September 1 Oneonta, AL- Frank Green Building, 415-5th Ave East. Come join us as the Blount County Master Gardeners sponsor our PowerPoint presentation and big Question and Answer session .  This fun program is open and free to the public! Rockport/Fulton, Texas, Hummer/Bird Celebration

Hummingbird banding by the Sargents. This is the Granddaddy of all hummingbird festivals.

October10 - 22 Fall Banding Session.  Fort Morgan State Historical Park, AL  Plan now to join us during the fall migration session.  Predawn to mid-afternoon daily bird banding sessions.  Open to the public and free.  There is a fee for entering the State Park where we are located.  Contact Bob or Martha Sargent at Rubythroat@aol.com or 205-681-2888.
